Welcome to my homepage. I am currently a fifth year Ph.D. candidate in Duke University's Graduate Program in Religion. Although my primary focus is the New Testament, my educational background and research interests span the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible and early Judaism, as well as the New Testament. My dissertation, "Genealogy and Conversion in Early Judaism and Christianity," incorporates all of these interests. This dissertation, written under the supervision of Joel Marcus, has been completed and will be defended in January 2010. Please feel free to navigate the links provided above to learn more about my research and teaching experience and interests, or email me with any questions you might have.
