"Prudence and Moderation: A Diplomat's View of the U.S.-Taiwan Relations”

 

 

Dr. David Tawei Lee arrived in Washington, D.C. on July 23, 2004 to take up his position as Taiwan’s Representative to the United States. A graduate of National Taiwan University, Representative Lee received his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in 1987. Dr. Lee is the author of The Making of the Taiwan Relations Act: Twenty Years in Retrospect, the Oxford University Press, 2000.
