Computer Science Biography

I first started using computers when I was very young, but I only played video games on it. I remember using unix computers however. Right now, I am building the software and hardware for a pool system along with two other students with Dr. John Board. This IS consists of using a lot of Java programming in order to finish the assignments. Hopefully, this class will teach me to how to write and use Java better.

I have used UNIX computers, LINUX computers, Windows Computers, and MACs relatively extensively. I am most comfortable with Windows computers.

I use computers pretty much constantly to do everything from writing papers to looking at the internet.

I think computer scientists do a lot of things, including designing software that people like to use. Their job is difficult because it means they need to think of why people like things.

I realized I like computer science when I realized I don't like Biomedical Engineering. Biomedical Engineering is not as fun as Computer science and I do not intend to go into it for a career.

Best Experience: This happened when my Boggle program worked in CPS 100E. That project gave me a lot of trouble in the beginning because I didn't understand how to code programs.

Worst Experience: My worst programming experience was writing code for MATLAB in Biomedical Engineering classes. I do not view MATLAB as a programming language so it was difficult to use since it made little to no sense.

I intend to go into software design in the future.
