I have created this website to provide an unbiased analysis of what is believed to be the greatest sports rivalry of all time: Duke University v. University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This rivalry encompasses every relationship between the two universities from academics to admissions, but the rivalry becomes most apparent during basketball season, when these two schools face each other head to head on the court. This website researches the past history between these two teams, analyzes the cause of the conflict, and theorizes solutions to the controversy.

Analysis - Gives you an introduction to the controversy by defining the issue at hand, introducing the main players, and their arguments, describing the context in which the controversy is brewing. In addition, it analyzes and problematizes possible solutions to the controversy.

Process - Contains a critically assesed and rewritten copy of an earlier research paper. Also contains a personal self evaluation of my growth during this process.

Theory - Provides an explanation that could possibly bring an end to the "polarized sides" of the Duke/UNC rivalry? Speculates on solutions could could bring an end to the controversy and suggests how the rivalry became so contentious in the first place.

Additional Resources - Links to the Duke and UNC websites, anti-Duke sites, anti- UNC sites and a variety of other sites.
