program at Wellesley College
at which I studied drawing, dumpster art, American Sign Language, and visual poetry.
Oxford
at which my major class was:
Introduction to Medical Sciences
Balancing visits to medical and research facilities with readings, lab projects,
and classroom discussions, our students study the development of modern medicine
and research, and explore the ethical and legal ramifications of recent medical
issues including euthanasia, experimental AIDS treatments and genetic
engineering. In addition to dissections and other hands-on experiences, special
emphasis is given to ways students prepare for the pre-med major and for medical
school itself. [as taken from course listings of the Oxford
Tradition web-site linked above]
and my minor was:
Drama
With intensive classwork in theory, technique, voice, mime, movement, and script
analysis, this course aims to enhance the skills of the novice as well as the
experienced student actor. From auditions and casting to rigorous rehearsals and
on to the final curtain call, our students participate in full-scale productions
of two Shakespearean plays, usually a Tragedy and a Comedy, performed for the
entire program in our Arts Festival.
