Steven D. Keller is a post-graduate researcher at Duke University in Durham, NC. He
received a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from Cornell University in
2004, an M.S. in ECE from Duke University in 2006, and a Ph.D. in ECE (with a focus
on electromagnetic waves and antennas) in 2008.
Steve has served as an electrical engineering intern in the Air Traffic Systems division at
Sensis Corporation in Dewitt, NY and in the Millimeter Wave branch of the Sensors and
Electron Devices Directorate at the Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, MD. From
2004 - 2008, he was a member of Dr. Williams T. Joines' research group at Duke University
and conducted research that focused on antenna bandwidth and size improvements for Army
ground communication systems.
Steve was on the Engineering Dean's List at Cornell University, is an Eagle Scout, and was
a Student Paper Finalist at the Allerton Antenna Applications Symposium in Monticello, IL
in September 2006. In August 2007, he was awarded 1st Place Graduate Student Paper
/ Presentation in the 1st Annual Army Research Laboratory Summer Student Research Symposium.
In his free time, Steve enjoys playing the saxophone, reading, composing music, and playing basketball.
