I wrote this plan in the summer of 2002 before I had any teaching
experience. I designed it to teach in a standard US history course
in the middle of a unit on the progressives.
Like the lesson on Women's Suffrage this lesson and the next are
also designed for a standard US history course. Lessons two and
three use the same content, but use different techniques to teach
it. In this lesson I employ cooperative learning techniques to teach
the lesson.
As noted above, this lesson teaches the same content as the above
lesson. However, here I use technology (in this case the internet)
as a resource for learning.
