October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and again, we're bringing a host of events to Duke University! We're having our annual BCA Week from October 26-30 and for the first time, our charity gala, A Moment in Time.
We chose "A Moment in Time" as our theme in order to encompass our goal of taking a step back from daily life and commemorating outstanding survivors and victims of breast cancer, and in a similar vein, to celebrate the timeless strength of female heroines everywhere.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Susan G. Komen Foundation to support breast cancer research. We're extremely proud of this event and we hope that you will help us make it a success. Please come out for a night of fun and entertainment, but more importantly for a great cause.

We will also be having our first Iris Week to celebrate the pillars of alpha Kappa Delta Phi - sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, service, and Asian Awareness. It's coming up from October 12 - 17 so remember to check out our events! More details can be found on our Facebook events pages.
