I'm a very easy person to get along with and my house used to be the house where all the kids would come. And I wouldn't even have Kool-Aid [laughs].

I used to just pile them in the car and take them to the park, take them to the pool. And they knew, "Let's go to Mrs. Reed's house. She'll do it. Let's ask Mrs. Reed." And I would do it. Even my nieces and nephews -- they're my heart. Seven, five and three. They always cried when I would have to go to work. Paul, he work in daytime and I would work evenings. So, I'd have my nieces over to the house. They would cry, they didn't want to go home. So, Paul would have to watch them in the evening when he got off from work. He wouldn't even take them home, cause they were crying. And they would come into my job -- I worked at a restaurant -- he'll bring them in the job they'll sit down, you know. They call me "Titi" cause they couldn't say Auntie Joyce.
