My Dissertation

My dissertation is titled "Electric Dreams: Computer Culture and the Utopian Sphere." I don't want to give away the whole thing, but here's an abstract, a bibliography, and an excerpt on the introduction of the Macintosh. 

Cultural Studies

I've given several conference papers on theoretical issues in cultural studies. Here's one on Pierre Bourdieu and Debbie Gibson, and another on Antonio Gramsci and Hootie and the Blowfish.
