Contemporary American Novel and Drama

I realize that the title for this section is kind of inarticulate, but I couldn't find a more precise way to periodize. This is a fairly important section -- especially the drama parts.

I realize that there are a number of other, more contemporary American authors that are noteworthy, but the chances of many of them showing up on the GRE in significant quanitites is slim. You won't get much more contemporary for American fiction/drama than this.

Dramatists:
