I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Pratt School of Engieering, Duke University. Working in the Meta Group led by Prof. David R. Smith, I am working on the design and modulation of optoelectronic devices using metamaterials. Metamaterials are engineered electromagnetic materials that can be designed to have unusual electromagnetic features. I use numerical simulation tools to design and optimize metamaterial structures. My previous research with Prof. Steven Cummer focused on the ionospheric E region remote sensing with ELF radio atmospherics. Please See my curriculum vitae for more information.
