someone in Tulsa, OK

Long time ago, a war took place in northern China. It was a nightmare for the nation. It was a terrible experience for that generation. I am too bad in history to know anything about the war. I am too young to have any direct or indirect experience with the war. Yet today, I met someone. He was there when Chinese people suffered because of the Japanese army; he was there when the Japanese surrendered and fled, leaving behind poverty and chaos; he was in China as a member of U.S. navy in the winter of 1945. He witnessed the history and he shares the feeling. Such stories only happen in movies; such feelings only appear in daydreams. After all, there is only one word I can think of - magic.
