Immigration Reform and Attracting Foreign Talent

In this NAFSA statement, it is argued that U.S. needs to attract and retain foreign talent. It was suggested that the H1B cap need to be increased to 115,000, OPT need to be extended to 24 months, and a new category of F-4 that allow permanent residency immediately after graduation need to be established for foreign students with advanced degrees in STEM fields.
