Use Cases for SNews

Layout for Alpha SNews:

Top left: groups
Top right: headers
Bottom left: more header info
Bottom right: selected article

Case 1 - User wants to connect

The list of groups, which may in the future be threaded, is in the top left window. The user selects which one to connect to and double clicks on it. This will cause the headers for that group to appear in the adjacent panel.

Case 2 - User wants to select an article

Once the article headers have appeared in the top right window, the user has to click on the one he wants to see the article for. Then it will appear in the bottom right window.

Case 3 - User wants to quit

The quit option can be selected from the File pulldown menu or invoked by pressing the "X" in the top right corner.
