I am currently a Ph.D. graduate student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Duke university
in Durham, NC, USA. I got my Master degree in the department of Mathematics at Yonsei University
in Seoul, Korea.

I worked in the field of numerical analysis in Mathematics, especially focused on the Finite Element
Analysis. Recently I'm working in the area of computational mechanics and my research interests are
mainly focused on the thermomechanical investigations of high speed machining of Aluminum using
the eXtended Finite Element Method and the Level Set Method.
