My PhD public defense was held on Friday June 25, 2004 at 5:15 pm in room INM-200 at EPFL, Lausanne. In contrast with the private defense which is an oral examination, the public defense is a presentation for colleagues, friends and relatives. I gave an introductory lecture in french on modeling of atrial fibrillation, focusing on a few illustrative examples. The following pictures were taken by François Mendels during this presentation.
