Yi-Hsin Erica Tsai

Brief Biography

I am a student in the Manos lab interested in the migration patterns of parasitic plants. I’m a fan of cycling, eating bad-for-you foods, and reading Agatha Christie.

After briefly contemplating a musical career playing the oboe, I dove into my studies of natural science. Now, I find myself as a part of the Manos lab in the department of biology at Duke Unversity. My interests in evolutionary biology were encouraged and developed as an undergraduate at the University of Colorado at Boulder. After 20+ years in northern Colorado, I moved to Durham, North Carolina, where I’m learning about fried food, basketball, and other things southern.
