. Death Valley .

December, 2003: Death Valley was never my idea of a dream vacation. Until I went. The vivid colors of its badlands and canyon walls were hard to see from the eyes of a teenager in a non air conditioned van in the heat of summer. The unique formations of salt flats and golf courses were much more appreciated this time around... in the 70 degree winter.
